Payment Terms

Secure A Space Ltd provides an online payment system where you can make payments in a safe and secure environment. In order to use our Payments system to make a payment, you (“you”/”your” or the “customer”) must be an individual or business that can enter into a legally binding contract under the laws of England and Wales. You may not make a payment and may not accept the Terms and Conditions if you are under the age of 18 or are not authorised to enter into such a contract.

The payment offers and service are offered by Secure A Space Limited (“us”/”we”/”our”) a company, registered at Unit 3, Hillview Business Park, Old Ipswich Road, Claydon, Ipswich, IP6 0AJ, UK registered in England & Wales No. 9301673. VAT Registration No. 181737392.

In making a payment through our Payment system, you accept the Terms and Conditions which form a legally binding contract between you and us.

All financial offers presented are invitations to treat and do not commit Secure A Space Ltd to accepting them upon you accepting an offer.

All one-off payments will be deemed to be accepted by Secure A Space Ltd and a receipt can be issued if requested separately by email to enquiries@secureaspace.co.uk .

Payments made for amounts which do not match the balance outstanding at the time of payment will be treated as part payments unless prior agreement has been made with us to accept a discounted amount.

Refunds will only be issued in the event of a technical error with our systems, or in the event that the user has paid over the amount due. Refunds will be made within 5 working days of us being notified of such errors.

Charge backs will be defended, and these terms and conditions will form the part of our defence. If for any reason the payment is successfully reclaimed by your bank, and is not due to fraudulent use of your card or due to an error on our part. Your account will be reinstated, and a fee of £10 will be applied.

What happens when you make a payment?

We will immediately deduct the amount from your specified account. Your billing statement will indicate a payment to ‘Secure A Space Ltd’

Unauthorised Use

If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately on 01473 353383. We also advise you to contact your financial institution.

If you wish to make a complaint

quoting your Parking Charge Notice Number and the details of your complaint. We will aim to respond to you within 28 business days. Alternatively, you can email a complaint to enquiries@secureaspace.co.uk Complaints cannot be taken via telephone.

Data Protection Information

We never store full details of the card used to make payment.  We retain only enough information as permitted by The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) in order to trace or refund a transaction that is made to us.  The processing of any payments from credit / debit cards issued by any of the major Card issuers MUST adhere to the PCI DSS standard. In relation to the personal data which we may hold about you, you have the right to:

Be informed, have access, rectification, erasure or transfer of your data. You also have the right to object or to restrict our processing of your data.

Under Data Protection law we must verify your identity before providing information and provide an explanation if we disagree with your request.

We may share information we collect about you with third party service providers. Our agreements with these service providers require that they protect your information and only use it to carry out the services they are performing for you.

Subject Access Requests

Subject Access Requests Under the UK Data Protection Act, You have the right to ask us to see the personal information that we hold about you (this is known as a ‘subject access request’) by writing to us.

Usually a Subject Access Request is free, however in certain circumstances, we may charge you a Subject Access Request Fee, if a Subject Access Request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or a request is for information previously provided – in which case an administrative charge can be levied.

We will generally respond to a subject access request within 30 days of receiving: (a) the Subject Access Request Fee; (b) information that We need in order to identify You; and (c) the information You need. If additional time is required, we will respond to you within 30 days to inform you.
